Positive: The location on long beach was lovely. The access to the beach and views compared to the rest of Phi Phi is the reason to stay here.

Negative: The resort feels tired and abandoned. The breakfast was not great despite previous reviews. The egg station used the same grill for eggs as it did the bacon, not great for veggies. One day our room wasn't cleaned until 4pm after asking twice.

Positive: This was perfect for our 1st stay in Thailand. Ignore the negative reviews. I read them after I booked and so was abit nervous of what we'd find but it really was great value for money.. delicious (basic) breakfast including fresh cooked omelette. Perfect clean spacious room (A2) right by the beach. The bars etc close at 10 so not noisy.. but you can catch longtail to and from the town til about 12.30am if you want to stay out abit later. Restaurants from neighbouring hotels were also great.. cheap cocktails and food but good standard. Also had a fireshow which was hilarious and a bbq next door. The beach bar serves delicious food and cocktails. Staff all lovely and responsive to any queries. Little mini shop next door for essentials. Room clean. Bed quite firm but we liked that. Free longtail on arrival and departure. Brilliant aircon. Sunloungers on the beach and we asked to borrow an umbrella from the bar.. we booked private cheap 6 island trip (half day) from the hotel which was brilliant .. but go early .. like 7.30- 8am to avoid huge crowds.

Negative: A couple of monkeys arrived on the beach one day around 4pm and rifled thru a few bags of people that were in the sea so be wary of that .. but that's Thailand for you and out of anyone's control.

Positive: Amazing location right on the crystal clear blue beach. Room they gave us was better than the pictures, very spacious. Decent bathroom and amazing view from the room. They came and cleaned the rooms daily. Free breakfast buffet in the morning was good. Monkeys came and visited one day which was a cool experience.

Negative: The air con remote didn’t work and would only turn off if we turned off all the power at once leaving us freeeezing cold by the morning. Also was slightly annoying having to boat everywhere and get sandy shoes every time we wanted to go somewhere. Love Phi Phi but would stay for a shorter time next time because once you’ve seen the town, done snorkelling and the boat tour then there’s not much else to do. Also found Phi Phi to be more expensive than other parts of Thailand.

Positive: My stay at this resort was excellent! I really liked the beautiful surroundings and the amazing attitude of the staff – you can tell they truly care about their guests. They even helped me with my luggage since I had a broken toe, which I really appreciated. The services were above standard, and everything went smoothly. The location is perfect, with easy and direct access to the sea, and the view of the ocean and the landscape is absolutely stunning. Breakfast was great, with a wide selection and fresh ingredients. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Negative: What I didn’t like was the old air conditioning and the many uneven steps around the resort, where I unfortunately broke my toe.

Positive: Big and clean room, nice staff, long beach is a amazing location

Negative: Noisy clima, poor breakfest, just fruit was good, no cheese, sea was amazing, a few sunbeds, but the worst experiation was the free transport from the hotel to Pier, where drivers pick up some tourist too for the money, so the boat was overcrowded by people and bags, so she almost sank!

Positive: The best thing about this place is the location. It’s chilled and away from the noise of Phi Phi town. There are about 5-6 restaurants to choose from along the beachfront but the better 2 are on the very end of Long Beach. The accomodation is like a 3 star hotel and was great for our 6 days. After changing from the plunge pool room (which wasn’t very private) we had the better superior rooms with a great view up a small hill and some stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed but generally leave you alone to enjoy your holiday. Our rooms were made up almost daily or whenever we put the sign on the doorknob. Breakfast is a simple buffet, but they do cook up good fresh eggs and omelettes - a staple in Asia :) We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of fish off the beach and around the rocks when snorkelling but needed to be careful of the currents. If you’re not too fussy this place is great and I would definitely come back just to relax and eat.

Negative: The owners need to use a toothbrush and some bleach in the tile grout in the showers. It’s not hard to throughly clean this.

Summary: Good for relaxing.
